European Retail Media Senior Sales Strategist

Type of Employment: Temporary for 6 months
Location: Oslo, Norway
Visa requirements: A valid work permit from the EU/EEA (relocation assistance is not provided)

THE ROLE
Reporting to the Interim Retail Media Lead within our Global Digital and Loyalty team, the European Retail Media Senior Sales Strategist role will be to establish the foundations for the European retail media sales strategy in line in with the global strategy. This includes 5 key deliverables to support European Business Units (BUs): (1) Rate card and sales pack development (2) Review of existing RMN activities (3) Strategy and roll out for Ad sales on Lift (proprietary upsell screens) (4) Establish measurement and testing (5) RMN Ad tech scoping.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
As European Retail Media Snr Sales Strategist, you will be instrumental in expanding our digital sales footprint across the European market. Your responsibilities will include:

• Rate card and sales pack development:
  Research and establish a rate card for all Retail Media Activities in all European BUs. Support BUs in development of sales pack.
  
• Review of existing RMN activities:
  Work closely with BU teams to document the existing RMN activities, revenue streams and contracts in place. Objective to share learnings across the European enterprise and align strategically.
  
• Strategy and roll out for Ad sales on Lift (proprietary upsell screens):
  Develop a strategy for Lift ad sales in Europe, a roll out plan and supports for the BUs. Integrate with Lift operations on clear ways of working.
  
• Establish measurement and testing programme:
  Establish, in conjunction with the RMN analyst and Data & Analytics team, a rigorous campaign measurement approach and testing programme.
  
• RMN Ad tech scoping:
  Work closely with Product Management and Digital Screens operations team to roll out globally approved adtech including programmatic/SSP and Ad serving technologies.
  

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field.
  
• Minimum 7-10 years media sales experience preferably in retail media sales, trade channel marketing, agency sales or other related area.
  
• Proven track record of selling to CPG clients, leading brand advertisers, and/or ad agencies.
  
• Proficiency in MS Office suite and CRM tools.
  
• Deep understanding of the Retail Media and/or Digital Media ad tech environment.
  
• Be able to adapt to rapidly changing environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines. Ideal candidate would be a self-starter and comfortable working cross functionally and as part of a team.
  
• Maintain a positive team attitude and professional demeanour.
  
• Is fluent in English, both oral and written .
