About the Position:
This is a unique opportunity for you to have a key role right from the development phase and into industrialization. You will play an important role in an environment with team focus and dedicated people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the industrialization projects in Vianode
- Active participation in HSE activities and active ownership of our goal of zero injuries
- Supporting process and technology development with theoretical modelling
- Master or Ph D in engineering, physics, mathematics, chemistry or similar
- Experience with FEM modelling, preferably Comsol Multiphysics and ideally with 3D, AC/DC, heat transfer and CFD calculations, including both time dependent and steady state
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably from industry
- Abel to connect theoretical calculations, analytical methods, physical observation and process measurements to ensure model validation
- Experience with additional modelling tools like HSC, Metsim or similar may also be of relevance
- Good knowledge of English (working language), knowledge of Norwegian is an advantage
- Interest in EV / battery / battery materials /
- Structured and methodical
- Effective problem solver
- Good at contributing to teams
- Good communication and presentation skills in both Norwegian and English
