The Role: We are looking for an Internal Tender- & Product Specialist (m/f/d) to support and coordinate public and private tenders. You’ll work closely with our Tender Team, ensuring tenders are managed smoothly from receipt to submission, through to contract implementation. Your responsibilities will circle around:

Customer Engagement:

• Monitor tender platforms for relevant announcements
  
• Manage the entire tender process, from receipt to submission, including addressing requirements and clarifying details with customers
  
• Act as a key contact between customers and Avantor, coordinating meetings and managing product or pricing inquiries
  
• Handle requests for samples, complaints, and product support
  

Product Management:

• Select products for tenders and address technical requirements
  
• Collaborate with suppliers to secure special pricing and manage stock requests
  
• Maintain broad knowledge of Avantor’s product range and support training initiatives
  

Tender Coordination & Reporting:

• Keep the CRM updated with tender progress and outcomes
  
• Review contracts, obtain necessary approvals, and ensure seamless agreement processes for awarded tenders
  
• Maintain compliance with internal policies, strategies, and relevant legislation
  

Marketing & Business Development:

• Engage with customers through events, meetings, and other relevant activities
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a Science subject or related field
  
• 2+ years of experience in Life Sciences, Laboratory, or related industries
  
• Familiarity with tender management processes preferred
  
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel; ERP experience is a plus
  
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and in teams
