About your future role
The Marketing Manager is an important engine in the development of Nets’ operation in Norway. The role is varied, and areas of responsibility include management of the larger marketing plan and hands-on involvement in various marketing activities together with colleagues across the Norwegian organization and with other parts of Nexi Group’s Nordic and European organization.
The Marketing Manager’s primary focus is on Merchant Solutions’ (“MS”) business areas SME, Partner, and Large Accounts (LAKA). The Marketing Manager plays an important part in developing the marketing plan for each business area and in ensuring that the planned activities are executed timely and within budget. There will be extensive collaboration with the local sales organizations, the Norwegian management team and with colleagues in Nets’ Nordic marketing community. Furthermore, there will also be an interaction with other parts of Nexi’s commercial organization across Europe. You'll be located at our office in Lysaker and report to the Head of Marketing.
The Marketing Manager has a holistic view on Nets’ Norwegian operation and ensures that the marketing activities have a clear link to the company’s overarching strategic and financial goals. As plans and proposals often need to be presented to, and aligned with, colleagues and senior management, a certain amount of internal presentation work can be expected.
To be successful in the role, the Marketing Manager must have a strategic view on Nets’ current and potential future position in the Norwegian market. This view is used to develop and implement marketing initiatives that make a difference for our sales activities and for our brand’s overall strength. To be proactive and constructive in the dialogue with relevant internal stakeholders is a necessity, as is confidence to challenge our established ways of working.
