Assignment Description
Resource owner: Manager Project Engineering
Task owner: Project Manager Utsira High

Project Engineer (PE) EG/IA Modifications shall assist the Project Manager as follows:

a) The execution of Utsira High modifications at Edvard Grieg (delivery line within Utsira High (UH) Project) inclusive of day-to-day Contractor follow-up activities.
b) The successful execution and integration of overall modifications under the new PRO EG/IA Mods Team. The PE will be instrumental helping establish this new mods organization including assisting on shaping its mandate, processes, and organization as it scales up modifications project deliveries to varying “customers” within the EG/IA Asset.

The PE role will, on a starting basis, be 100% on supporting UH Edvard Grieg Mods delivery line before transitioning to a split role between the UH (a) and the new PRO EG/IA Mods team(b).

The role is responsible for assisting the Project Manager in ensuring the Project Team deliver in accordance with Aker BP BMS and project mandate given by the Asset Management Team, with high HSE and quality performance.

The role holds a key position in the successful delivery of the Project and promotes sharing of knowledge and information. When agreed with the PM, the role shall act in combined role as lead coordinator of specific deliverables.

• Coordinate input to the Project Execution Plan and ensure alignment across the entire Project Team by contributing to good cooperation and communication across units and levels.
• Prepare documents for and support Decision Gate presentation, project risk management and stakeholder management. Support management review and other assurance activities.
• Contribute to management of change for the project.
• Promote continuous improvement through the project and support, document and manage learning across the project team and towards other projects.

Qualifications

• Skilled professional with good technical and multidiscipline overview
• Experience from early phase and EPCI-projects and with one or more project delivery lines (Subsurface, D&W, Facilities, Operation)
• Knowledge of basic project management (planning, cost control, project reporting, procurement, HSSEQ elements, risk management, project performance)
• Communication and facilitation skills are competencies that are highly emphasized for this role

Main office location for this position is Bærum. If located in other areas of Norway the candidate must be willing to travel weekly to Bærum.
