Job Purpose
Controls & Automation Product Line is responsible for development and delivery of Subsea Control and Monitoring Systems to Subsea Production, Intervention and Workover systems for production of oil and gas. The product line is a multidisciplinary technicalenvironment with R&D and delivery projects involving competency areas within system engineering, digital infrastructure, embedded SW, embedded HW, instrumentation and mechanics.
In this product line, MPM is responsible for development, production, testing and delivery of Multiphase- and Single- phase meters,both topside and subsea.
MPM is a division of Technip FMC based in Stavanger. We are world leading within our business segment and have an organizationof enthusiastic and skilled people, covering a wide variety of disciplines. MPM makes the most sophisticated and accurate flowmeters for the oil and gas industry.
MPM’s unique and patented technology and products have been developed in close co-operation with major Oil and Gas Companies.

Job Description
Manufacturing Engineer
You will be a Manufacturing Engineer for our MPM office in Stavanger belonging to our C&A (Controls & Automation) Engineeringdepartment. You will receive training and coaching by your manager. You will receive on-the-job training and development throughparticipation in our projects.
Main Tasks:

Main Tasks:
- Responsible for involving the required resources to quickly remove stops and to follow up on any corrective/preventiveactions/improvements to ensure a continuous manufacturing/production flow.
- Support in creating, reviewing and approving manufacturing processes/work instructions.
- Utilize Lean Manufacturing principles, problem solving and RCA.
- Actively supporting on QHSE issues/improvements/implementation/feedback.
- Help create a continuous flow in production providing support both to engineering and production. Will support on Life of Fieldservice projects, design for manufacturing and Technology. prototyping/testing/qualification.
- Support and lead technical discussions
You are meant for this job if:
- Bachelor’s or master's degree within mechanical engineering or similar, (experience can compensate for lack of formaleducation).
- Minimum 10 years relevant operational experience
- Good communication skills. Fluent in English (oral and written).
- Experience with lean manufacturing.
- A creative mindset and the ability to be self-driven in working with development tasks and problem solving.
- Experience with product engineering, industrialization, and operations.
- Previous experience with SAP Production Module ( Preferred not required)
- Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in Norway, without sponsorship
