The position`s main responsibility is to establish, maintain and continuously improve a system for controlling Quality, Health, Safety, Security & Environment related to Manufacturing in accordance to Corvus standard. The role includes managing the team supporting those functions to ensure the established system are followed at any time

Role reports to: SVP Manufacturing Europe
Responsibilities
- Responsible to establish, maintain and continuously improve a robust system for quality control in line with Corvus “standard” for incoming parts, products in production process and final inspection (EOL)
- Responsible for resource planning, skill and training plan in QHSSE Manufacturing department
- Responsible of leading Manufacturing QHSE activities as Manufacturing QHSSE review boards
- Responsible to implement and maintain checklist and Inspection criteria for Quality, Health, Safety, Security and Environmental Control
- Responsible for maintaining a system for documentation and calibration control of all required tools and equipment (except assets)
- Identifies training needs and ensures proper training is developed and provided
- Responsible for securing that all interfaces related to this role is identified and processes to handle them is established
Duties
- Align activities with other Corvus Sites and ensure Bergen Factory to fulfill required Quality Control
- Cooperation with Design Engineering & Sustaining Engineering related to inspection criteria
- Ensure high level of communication with Supply Chain, Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Engineering and Production to improve process of Quality Control
- Ensure adequate WI, checklist and training are in place to fulfill Quality control in accordance with Corvus standard at any time
Support
- Be an active player in Continuous Improvement and LEAN activities in Production
- Utilize dedicated Quality Inspector(s) and relevant Operators, Production leaders etc to ensure that Quality control in accordance to Corvus standard are followed at any time
- Qualifications, education and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline from an accredited college or university
- Technician degree in an Engineering discipline from an accredited college in combination with minimum 3+ years of experience in equivalent field
- Hands on experience with production, tooling and tolerances
- Skills within Lean and 5S
- Competence from ERP system
- Competent in office programs
- Flexible and solution oriented
