We are seeking a visionary Technical Lead to spearhead our voice technology initiatives. Beyond leading development, this role demands a strategic thinker capable of shaping our voice technology's future, making pivotal technical decisions, and guiding our development team towards innovative solutions that align with our ambitious goals.
You will have a significant impact on the architecture and direction of our voice solutions, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to elevate the success and competitiveness of our voice product.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take the lead in scoping new voice integrations, working closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose innovative solutions.
- Define and communicate the technical and architectural vision for voice technology projects, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
- Drive architectural decisions and provide technical leadership.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, external partners, and customers to understand their needs and deliver solutions.
- Champion automation capabilities through the implementation of testing tools, enhancing development speed and agility.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks and challenges during the development process.
- Facilitate code reviews, identify areas of improvement, and promote knowledge sharing within the team.
- Mentor and develop team members, identifying talent gaps and fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
- Interface with internal and external resources to understand development and maintenance needs while serving as a subject matter expert for our voice offering.
- Experience working with voice technologies and with relevant software is a plus (including voice gateways, telephony infrastructure, CCaa S).
- Experience or interest in Machine Learning is a plus.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated expertise in Python engineering.
- Strong SQL skills.
- Proficiency in API integrations.
- Experience with CI / automated testing.
- Proven experience in leading and inspiring technical teams to achieve outstanding results, with a strong focus on mentorship and professional development of team members
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to foresee and address risks in software development.
- Outstanding collaboration and communication skills, contributing effectively to a team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to strategic planning and decision-making, with a track record of technical innovation and leading projects that meet and exceed business objectives
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proactive approach, capable of independently identifying areas of improvement.
