YOUR FUTURE ENVIRONMENT

We are in an exciting period of new opportunities in Europe. We are strengthening our international team and have recently open several positions to work within our EIFFAGE Infrastructure branch EIFFAGE Norge, based in Porsgrunn, Norway.
Eiffage Norge is the main contractor for the E18 Langangen-Rugtvedt highway. The project is a 4-lane 18km long highway including 3 bridges and 2 mains twin’s tunnels (Bjonnas Tunnel 2.5km and Grenland Tunnel 5.1km). It started in January 2021 and will run until end 2025.
You will join a dynamic team in Norway with a potential of long-term assignment in Scandinavia.
Eiffage Norge is looking for an ambitious and structured person who will contribute to good quality in the company's financial department. You must have experience from cost control and good communication and collaboration skills. If you want to expand and contribute your knowledge alongside skilled and committed employees in this exciting project, this may be the job for you!

YOUR MAIN TASKS

You will be responsible for the control of temporary structures on site, preparation of the methods documents and coordination of temporary structures design and external control
Reporting to the Methods manager:

• Planning of inspections according to the work schedule and coordination of visits with construction teams.
  
• On-site inspection of temporary works during the assembly and before installation/use
  
• Ensure that standard formwork assembled by site is in accordance with supplier instruction, if necessary make verification according to supplier manual.
  
• Planning and performing of periodic control.
  
• Preparing of checklist for repetitive structures, standard structures and periodic control structures.
  
• Ensure proper and regular control of platform, scaffolding, and stair towers is done by competent person
  
• Coordination of design and external control of temporary work
  
• Prepare of tender packages of temporary structures and transmit for consultation
  
• Preparing of methods documents: method statements, site installations, construction phasing, lifting plans, temporary works design documents required for the construction of main viaducts and standard structures.
  

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Engineering degree
At least 3-4 years’ experience of civil engineering projects
Excellent Microsoft Office skills and appropriate tools for the discipline
Good written verbal and communication skills in English
