What you’ll be doing
As the VP of Finance, you will lead the financial operations of our company, including budgeting, financial forecasting, and accounting functions. You will work closely with the executive team to provide insights and recommendations, ensuring that financial discipline is maintained across the organization as we grow. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of Skyfri by building the finance function from the ground up.
In this role, you will

• Oversee the budgeting process and provide accurate forecasting to guide business decisions.

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, in cooperation with the external accountant, ensuring compliance with local regulations, including overseeing accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.

• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to the executive team and board of directors.

• Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring the company has the financial resources needed to meet its growth and operational needs.

• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and mitigate financial risks by developing and maintaining internal controls.

In addition, we need you to:

• Be fluent in English and a Scandinavian language (Norwegian, Swedish, or Danish).

• Live in or in commuting distance to Oslo, Norway.

• Have a Masters in Finance, Business Administration, or similar.

• 7+ years of experience, of which at least 2-3 years are in a similar role in a company trading products internationally.

• Solid experience as Tripletex admin.

• Experience with quarterly and yearly reporting.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

It’d be great if you also have…

• Energy market experience.

Had an internship or experience from one of the “big four”.
