VP Diversity and Global People Processes
Are you passionate about driving people-centric processes and fostering a culture of diversity and inclusion? At Telenor, we’re looking for a dynamic leader to spearhead our People Processes function.
Your mission will be to support our business and people ambitions by delivering end-to-end processes for People Dialogue (our performance and development process), Engagement Surveys, and a forward-leaning Diversity & Inclusion agenda. In addition, you will play a crucial role in driving towards our people strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
-
Employee Surveys: Own the end-to-end process for annual and periodic employee surveys, measuring the working environment at global, business unit, and team levels.
-
People Development: Lead the Global People Dialogue process, ensuring effective performance assessments and development plans through frequent leader-employee dialogues.
-
Diversity & Inclusion: Drive a forward-leaning D&I agenda, supporting initiatives in the Nordic business units and advancing TELENOR’s leadership in diversity coalitions and partnerships.
-
People Strategy: Collaborate closely with Business Areas to set the direction for the People Strategy agenda across Telenor Group.
-
Ad-Hoc Projects: Take on various projects within the People area to support our evolving needs. E.g. being Project Leader for the annual Sustainability Statement in accordance with CSRD.
Key Tasks:
-
Manage vendor contracts, tool and platform enablement, training, and complete services for the annual EES survey and action plans.
-
Coordinate, report, and analyze Pulse Surveys. In addition, you will drive the overall EES action planning process together with our Group Leadership Team.
-
Oversee and ensure a continuous development of the People Dialogue process, including performance assessments, development plans, talent management, and succession planning, all executed via our HCM system. During 2025 we are working on changing the common HCM system, and you will be leading some of the sub-streams of this project.
-
Support diversity initiatives, follow up on D&I action plans, and ensure compliance with mandatory diversity requirements in collaboration with the Rewards team.
-
Drive the overall People Strategy and ensure a common understanding of the overall People direction by collaborating with Business Areas during strategic planning and serving as the main point of contact for Group Strategy on People topics.
Qualifications:
-
Proven experience in managing people processes and driving strategic initiatives.
-
Strong background in diversity and inclusion, with a track record of supporting and advancing D&I agendas.
-
Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across different business areas. Proven experience of successful stakeholder management.
-
Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey ideas and solutions to employees, senior management, and internal/external stakeholders.
-
Experience with HCM systems and tools for managing people processes.
-
International experience in strategic and operational HR teams. Experience from a large Nordic organisation or context is considered meriting.
-
Project management experience.
-
BSc / MSc in HR, Organisational Development, Psychology, Sociology or related field.
Personal Characteristics:
-
Collaborative and relationship-oriented: Able to build strong relationships and work effectively with diverse teams.
-
Results-oriented: Focused on execution and timely delivery of results.
-
Analytical mindset: Capable of identifying emerging trends and conducting analysis for benchmarking and continuous improvement.
-
Self-motivated and energetic: Possesses a “can-do” attitude and is proactive in driving initiatives.
-
Strong communication and presentation skills: Able to work with all levels in the organisation.
-
Strategic and operational: Able to work strategically while also executing operational and administrative tasks.
