Assistant Compliance Manager

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement compliance programs: Assist in the design and enforcement of compliance programs to ensure the company adheres to applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Create and manage internal controls: Support the establishment and monitoring of internal controls to mitigate compliance risks across all departments and business activities.
- Draft and revise company policies: Help create, update, and implement company policies in line with evolving legal requirements, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
- Conduct regular audits: Assist in performing audits of internal processes, documents, and practices to identify compliance gaps or weaknesses, recommending corrective actions where necessary.
- Evaluate compliance risks: Assist in assessing business activities (e.g., investments, financial transactions) for compliance risks and provide recommendations to ensure full regulatory adherence.
- Collaborate with external auditors and HR: Work with external auditors, legal advisors, and HR to ensure policies and practices align with legal and regulatory standards.
- Manage compliance violations and crises: Support the development and implementation of strategies to handle compliance violations or crises, minimizing potential risks to the business.
- Educate and train employees: Help design and conduct training sessions for employees to raise awareness about regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry best practices.
- Address employee concerns: Serve as a resource for employees, answering questions and resolving concerns related to legal compliance.
- Proven experience as a Compliance Officer, Compliance Manager, or in a similar compliance-related role, preferably in finance or brokerage.
- Knowledge of legal requirements.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
- Degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., CCEP) is a plus.
