Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Business Development Manager with a strong background in B2B business development and staff augmentation services. The ideal candidate must have a proven track record of consistently closing over €200,000 in annual sales and be able to work independently to drive growth. This is a highly entrepreneurial role, involving extensive outbound calling and consultative selling to close new business.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategies to achieve €18,000 per month in sales from new clients.
  • Manage the entire sales lifecycle: prospecting, lead generation, negotiation, and deal closure.
  • Manage the full sales lifecycle, from prospecting and lead generation to deal closure.
  • Identify potential clients through various channels such as email outreach, Linked In, cold calls, and web scraping.
  • Enrich and refine lead data to ensure relevance and quality.
  • Focus on selling staff augmentation services to companies that require software development resources.
  • Bid on both private and public sector tenders, preparing proposals and creating tailored solutions to meet client requirements.
  • Work closely with the technical and management teams to design and deliver proposals that align with the client’s technical needs.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in Ireland and internationally.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through consultative selling techniques, understanding client needs and presenting effective solutions.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to the management team.
Job Requirements:
  • 5+ years of proven experience in B2B business development specifically in the software development industry (staff augmentation experience is a must).
  • A proven track record of closing over €200,000 in annual sales.
  • Strong understanding of the staff augmentation model in software development, and the ability to articulate the value proposition to clients.
  • Ability to independently manage the sales pipeline, from lead generation to closing deals.
  • Experience in bidding on tenders and creating e Proposals for both private and public sector contracts.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated with a mindset to achieve sales goals and a passion for business growth.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and sales tracking software.
  • Ability to work remotely and with minimal supervision.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in B2b Outbound Sales and business development, particularly in the software industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Experience in lead generation and deal closure in the B2B software development space.
  • Solid understanding of software development processes and the tech landscape.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with fluency in English.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a remote team.
