Deputy Manager Engineering & Maintenance - Electrical

The incumbent is responsible for overseeing and managing the electrical maintenance operations within the organization, ensuring the reliable and efficient functioning of all electrical systems and equipment. This role involves planning and implementing preventive maintenance programs, troubleshooting electrical issues, and coordinating repairs to minimize downtime and ensure the smooth operation of the facility. This position supervises a team of electrical technicians, ensuring compliance with safety standards and industry regulations while fostering a safe work environment. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with other departments, managing external vendors for technical support, and maintaining accurate documentation of all maintenance activities. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise in electrical systems, effective leadership skills, and at least 5-7 years of experience in maintenance, with a proven track record of managing maintenance teams and optimizing equipment reliability. A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, along with excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills, is required for this position.
