Job Summary: The Deputy Manager of Injection Molding will oversee the injection molding processes within the battery manufacturing industry. This role involves optimizing production efficiency, ensuring quality standards, and managing a team of operators and technicians. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in injection molding processes, experience in the battery manufacturing industry, and excellent leadership skills.
Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Sciences, or a related field.
• Minimum of 07 years of experience in injection molding, preferably in the battery manufacturing sector.
• Strong knowledge of injection molding machinery, tooling, and materials, especially thermoplastics used in battery components.
• Proven leadership skills with experience managing a team in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Process Management:

• Oversee the daily operations of the injection molding department, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
• Analyze and optimize molding processes to improve efficiency, reduce scrap, and minimize downtime.

Team Leadership:

• Manage and mentor a team of injection molding technicians and operators, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and safety.
• Conduct regular training sessions to enhance team skills and knowledge in injection molding techniques and safety practices.

Quality Assurance:

• Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure all molded components meet specifications and industry standards.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts for any production issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with the engineering and design teams to ensure that product designs are optimized for manufacturability.
• Collaborate with the supply chain team to manage inventory levels of raw materials and components used in injection molding.

Safety Compliance:

• Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed in the injection molding area.
• Promote a safe work environment by conducting safety audits and addressing any potential hazards.

Reporting and Analysis:

• Prepare and present regular reports on production performance, including key metrics such as yield rates, cycle times, and equipment utilization.
• Use data analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement within the injection molding processes.
