JOB DESCRIPTION
About the Role:
This role is responsible to:
- Manage 3PL relationships and services for all DC (Distribution Center) related activities including inbound, put-away, order processing, outbound, returns, and billing etc.
- Effectively manage DC KPIs, through regular feedback and performance reviews with 3PL service providers.
- Plan and implement programs consistent with LS&Co. strategy and financial and business targets.
- Continuously review, analyze, and implement processes/initiatives that maximize DC efficiencies supporting cost saving programs, reliable, and responsive warehousing & distribution operations.
- Support import & export processes while meeting agreed timelines and KPIs.
- 3PL billing reviews and audits for warehousing and transportation services. SAP PO creation for 3PL bills.
- Manage shipment claim processes for local and international shipments including inventory reconciliation
Key Responsibilities
- Partner and build strong relationship with 3PL to ensure shipments are shipped on-time and tracked
- Issue resolution among 3PL DC service provider, transporter, and customers
- Work with DC operations and transportation teams to ensure end to end deliveries are managed correctly including EDI upload and proof of delivery
- Implement cost & delivery efficient transport model and work with 3PL/Transporter to build fleet management
- Develop strong relationships with customers’ logistics teams to simplify processes and improve transit times
- Work with 3PL to manage Inventory accuracy and delivery accuracy
- Work with 3PL to optimize DC space, create a seamless flow and build efficient warehouse operations
- Manage DC performance including capacity planning and daily operations.
- Prepare and report delivery information for both internal and external customers/audits.
- Conduct regular meetings and performance reviews with 3PL regarding problems, issues, concerns, and projects aimed at continuous improvement
- Resolve any problems with orders, deliveries, returns and other customer service-related issues/matters on daily basis
- Oversee and coordinate the implementation of distribution and warehouse policies and procedures (customer returns, dispatches)
- Creates SAP POs for 3PL bill payments
- Perform data analysis & reports as required to support an initiative, project or query
- Responsible for preparation of reports for Distribution
- The above job scope covers both local & SG/Regional support.
Key Metrics for Success:
- Distribution Cost Per Unit (CPU)
- Service Levels and OTFR
- 3PL/DC productivity – number of units handled per man hour
- Claims mitigation and timelines to resolve
- Sustainability initiatives and progress against set standards
- Align Business Processes with local regulations
- Any other tasks that may be assigned by the Company from time to time

Key Relationships:
3PL, Allocator, Order Management, Wholesale, E-comm, Retail Teams, Finance, Planners, Trade Compliance, Regional Distribution & Logistics
Reports to: Sr Director D&L - AMA
About You:
Education: Supply chain / Business degree from a reputable University.
Experience & Competencies:
- 3 years working experience in logistics, distribution, or supply chain operations
- Result oriented with the ability to multitask and work independently
- Ability to engage and is a highly competent communicator who can successfully interact with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, management and business partners
- Good sense of urgency and timeliness
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- SAP knowledge is an advantage but not necessary
- Experience in managing 3PL and working with Freight Forwarders
- Proficient in MS office applications, including Excel and Power Point
- Proficient in written English and able to speak English fluently
Other attributes:
Capability in handling and solving day to day operational issues independently, professionally and amicably is a must for this role.
