We are seeking an experienced and qualified Electric Incharge for our poly line operations. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with hands-on experience in managing electrical operations, troubleshooting, and maintenance work in an industrial setting. The Electric Incharge will ensure the smooth functioning of electrical systems, compliance with safety standards, and optimal performance of all electrical equipment on the polyline.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all electrical operations on the polyline, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient production.
- Perform regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on electrical systems, motors, control panels, and other equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues in a timely manner, minimizing disruptions to production.
- Collaborate with the production and maintenance teams to ensure electrical systems support optimal production efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and protocols in all operations.
- Supervise and guide junior electricians and technical staff in daily tasks and problem-solving.
- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, equipment status, and electrical logs.
- Monitor and control energy usage to optimize operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure that all electrical systems are up to date and comply with relevant local regulations and company policies.
- Participate in the installation and commissioning of new electrical equipment as required.
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of field work experience in electrical maintenance, especially in an industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, control panels, motors, and industrial equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical diagrams.
- Hands-on experience with electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
- Good understanding of safety regulations related to electrical systems in an industrial environment.
- Leadership and supervisory skills to manage and guide a team of electricians and technicians.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate documentation.
