Job Description: The Dua Brand is looking for a talented and experienced Digital Video Editor/Animator to join our creative team! We are seeking a detail-oriented professional with a passion for storytelling and a strong background in video editing and animation. You will be responsible for creating high-quality video content that aligns with our brand's vision, from concept to final production.
Key Responsibilities:

• Edit and manipulate video content to produce high-quality deliverables that engage and captivate the audience.
• Collaborate with the production team to understand project needs and objectives.
• Review stock footage, scripts, and raw material to create a cohesive shot decision list.
• Trim and sequence video footage, incorporating music, sound effects, dialogues, graphics, and animations.
• Produce both rough and final cuts while ensuring logical sequencing and continuity.
• Integrate 3D elements, VFX, some CGI, special effects, and other animations to enhance the visual impact of the content.
• Stay up-to-date with new video editing techniques, software updates, and industry trends to ensure top-quality output.
• Provide creative input throughout the production and post-production processes, consulting with stakeholders to achieve the best possible results.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in video editing and animation.
• Software Proficiency: Expert-level skills in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and familiarity with other industry-standard tools (e.g., Lightworks).
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of video timing, visual effects, 3D animation, compositing, and continuity.
• Creative Vision: Demonstrable ability to think creatively and bring fresh ideas to the table, transforming concepts into compelling visual stories.
• Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing your video editing and animation skills is required.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with other animation software and tools.
• Understanding of current video trends in the digital marketing and social media space.
• Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines while maintaining a high standard of quality.

Location Requirement:

• Karachi: Candidates should be able to reliably commute.
