### Position Overview:
Nilofer Shahid, a renowned fashion house celebrated for its luxury, heritage-inspired designs, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Fashion Production Manager. This pivotal role involves overseeing all aspects of garment production to ensure our collections meet the highest standards of quality, timeliness, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for quality control, a strong understanding of garment construction, and the ability to coordinate across departments to deliver our unique and exquisite designs.
### Key Responsibilities:
- **Production Oversight:**
Oversee the end-to-end production process, from initial sample development to final manufacturing, ensuring all items meet Nilofer Shahid’s luxury standards and timelines.
- **Quality Control:**
Develop and implement quality control processes at each stage of production to maintain brand integrity and luxury standards. Conduct inspections and troubleshoot issues proactively.
- **Vendor & Supplier Management:**
Liaise with suppliers and vendors to source quality materials, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely deliveries. Manage relationships with external production partners and ensure they meet the brand’s standards.
- **Team Coordination & Supervision:**
Lead and coordinate with cross-functional teams, including designers, pattern makers, and tailors, to ensure smooth workflow, maintaining open communication and resolving production challenges as they arise.
- **Budget Management:**
Monitor production costs and optimize resource use to meet budgetary constraints without compromising quality. Track expenses and report on cost-effectiveness regularly.
- **Timeline & Inventory Management:**
Establish and adhere to production timelines, ensuring timely completion of all orders. Manage inventory of raw materials and supplies to prevent delays in production.
- **Process Improvement:**
Identify and implement opportunities to streamline production processes, improve efficiency, and reduce lead times while maintaining high standards.
### Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Production, Textile Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in fashion production, with a preference for experience in luxury or high-end fashion.
- Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, and materials.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Proficiency in production software, inventory management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
