· Perform all general maintenance tasks related to the garden including planting new trees, servicing garden machinery, able to manage small and heavy machinery and conducting regular pruning and advising supervisor of cost-effective methods.
· Maintain and grow the garden to ensure it meets specific requirements and expectations.
· Perform basic maintenance such as cutting grass, emptying bins, Flower maintaining, Lawn trimming, trees trimming, watering managing weed control and leaf raking.
· Plant and new trees, flowers, and various plants.
· Work with hand tools and basic light machinery.
· Maintain a clean garden by clearing rubbish and litter from the garden and grounds.
· Provide guidance to management on matters related to the garden.
· Advise supervisor on the costs of plants and garden necessities with detailed written quotations and reports.
· Ensure a safe environment for staff and clients by adhering to safety and health regulations.
· Ensure garden and landscape maintenance in presentable condition.
· Perform other duties as requested by the supervisor.
Qualification Required:
· The incumbent should have good working knowledge of how to plant and care for plants and flowers keeping in view the season and climatic condition of the area.
· Experience:
· At least 5 years in knowledge of plants and gardening techniques and also understanding of health and safety rules and legislation.
