Home Care Attendant /Caregiver in Lahore

We seek a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Attendant to provide essential support and assistance to individuals needing home-based care. The Home Care Attendant will be responsible for delivering personalized care to clients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being within their homes. Duties may include assisting with activities of daily living, administering medication, providing companionship, and maintaining a clean and organized living environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare and a genuine desire to improve the lives of others.
Responsibilities:
Pay: Rs45,000.00 - Rs75,000.00 per month
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and support to clients in their homes, following individual care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, while promoting independence and dignity.
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals and ensure compliance with medication schedules.
- Monitor clients' vital signs, symptoms, and overall health status, reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare provider.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging in meaningful interactions and activities to enhance their quality of life.
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as meal preparation, laundry, and tidying up living spaces to maintain a safe and comfortable environment.
- Transport clients to medical appointments, grocery shopping, or other errands as needed, ensuring their safety during outings.
- Document care provided and observations accurately and timely in client records, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to privacy regulations.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and other caregivers to coordinate and deliver comprehensive care to clients.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in home-based care.
- Clinical Nursing Assistant, Midwifery, OT Technician, LHV (Lady Health Visitor), CMW (Community Midwife), or Dispenser certification or equivalent qualification required.
- Proven experience providing care to individuals in a healthcare setting, preferably in a home care environment.
- Strong understanding of basic nursing principles, medication administration, and infection control practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Compassionate and empathetic demeanor, with a genuine desire to help others and improve their quality of life.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing client needs and schedules, including availability for evening, weekend, and holiday shifts as required.
- CPR and First Aid certification may be required depending on local regulations and employer policies.
- Clear criminal background checks and immunization records are required for employment.
