Key Responsibilities:
- Academic Oversight:
- Monitor the student’s progress in her lessons, ensuring that she is keeping up with her tutor’s assignments and recommendations.
- Review completed homework and assignments to confirm they meet the required standards.
- Ensure the student is prepared for each tutoring session with all necessary materials and a clear understanding of the tasks at hand.
- Lesson Coordination:
- Liaise with the tutor to stay informed about the student’s academic progress and any areas of concern.
- Help the student manage her time effectively, balancing schoolwork, tutoring sessions, and revision.
- Daily Organization:
- Assist the student in organizing her study materials and workspace, ensuring everything is neat and easily accessible.
- Ensure the student’s school bag is packed with all necessary books, notebooks, and supplies each day.
- Parental Collaboration:
- Provide regular updates to parents regarding the student’s progress, highlighting achievements and any areas that may need additional attention.
- Work with the parents and tutor to align on strategies that support the student’s learning and academic goals.
- Additional Support:
- Encourage the student to stay motivated and engaged with her studies, offering guidance and support as needed.
- Assist with preparation for exams by ensuring the student adheres to a study plan and is well-prepared.
- Environment Management:
- Maintain a clean and organized study environment, free from distractions, to help the student focus on her studies.
- Minimum Education – A levels
- Experience in teaching or tutoring children in a formal or informal setting.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to create and maintain schedules.
- Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with children.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a clean and orderly environment.
- Strong communication skills, both with children and adults.
