Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced HSE Trainer to develop and deliver high-quality health, safety, and environmental training programs. The HSE Trainer will be responsible for ensuring that all staff members are well-versed in safety procedures, regulations, and risk mitigation strategies. The ideal candidate should be knowledgeable in industry standards and possess the ability to engage participants in practical and theoretical training sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and update HSE training programs and materials.
- Conduct HSE training sessions, both theoretical and practical, for employees at all levels.
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of training programs through evaluations and feedback.
- Identify potential risks and hazards within the workplace and educate staff on prevention techniques.
- Provide guidance on emergency response procedures, including fire drills and first-aid.
- Prepare reports and maintain documentation related to safety training sessions and certifications.
- Work with management to identify training needs based on operational requirements and incidents.
- Stay updated on changes in HSE legislation, guidelines, and industry best practices.
- Conduct safety audits and inspections as part of the training process.
- Bachelor’s degree in science.
- Certifications such as NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent HSE qualifications.
- Experience with risk assessments and incident investigations.
- Proven experience in conducting HSE training in an industrial, Hospitality, or similar environment.
- Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate employees at all levels.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a HSE Trainer.
