Industrial Relation Executive (HUB)

An individual will play a pivotal role in fostering harmonious relationships between management, employees, and labor unions in the manufacturing plant. This position involves managing employee grievances, ensuring compliance with labor laws, facilitating negotiations, and implementing policies that promote a positive work environment while aligning with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
1. Maintain a harmonious relationship between management, employees, and labor unions.
2. Serve as a point of contact for employee grievances, ensuring timely resolution in line with company policies.
3. Compliance Ensure that all company policies and procedures comply with labour laws and regulations. Stay updated on legal changes and advise management on necessary adjustments.
4. Conduct disciplinary proceedings, including investigations, hearings, and documentation.
5. Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
6. Prepare and submit reports to government authorities, such as labor welfare and safety reports.
7. Stay updated on labor legislation changes and advise management accordingly.
8. Facilitate collective bargaining processes and negotiate agreements with labor unions.
9. Manage union meetings, prepare agendas, and document outcomes.
10. Drive initiatives to improve employee relations and engagement within the plant.
11. Mediate disputes between employees, supervisors, and unions to maintain a peaceful working environment.
12. Identify potential areas of conflict and proactively implement measures to mitigate them.
13. Assist in drafting, revising, and enforcing HR policies related to industrial relations.
14. Communicate policies effectively to employees and stakeholders to ensure adherence.
15. Organize training sessions on labor laws, workplace ethics, and employee rights.
16. Promote awareness of organizational values and employee responsibilities.
Qualifications and Experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
Experience: 03–05 years of experience in industrial relations within a manufacturing setup.
- Familiarity with handling labor union negotiations is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and industrial relations practices.
- Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
