Job Summary:
The IT Manager will be responsible for managing and maintaining all technical aspects of our game development studio, including testing devices, workstations, network infrastructure, and digital assets. The role involves procurement, installation, configuration, support, documentation, and cloud management. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of these areas and will be able to ensure seamless operations while supporting our team effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Management:

• Oversee and manage all testing devices, workstations, network infrastructure, and digital assets.
• Ensure fluency and functionality across all technical systems.
• Procure, install, and configure necessary hardware and software to support the studio's operations.

Support and Interaction:

• Develop and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for interactions with employees.
• Handle IT requests and complaints efficiently, providing timely and effective solutions.
• Maintain clear and professional communication with employees and external parties.
• Manage public dealings related to IT infrastructure and services.

Documentation:

• Create and maintain comprehensive IT policies and technical documentation.
• Ensure documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders.

Cloud Management:

• Manage and optimize cloud services including AWS, Google Cloud, and Google Workspace.
• Oversee Slack and data transfer processes to ensure secure and efficient operations.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an IT Manager or similar role, preferably in a game development studio or similar industry.
• Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience with testing devices, workstations, network infrastructure, and digital assets.
• Proficient in procurement, installation, and configuration of IT systems.
• Excellent support and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle requests and complaints effectively.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with employees and external parties.
• Experience in creating and maintaining IT policies and technical documentation.
• Solid understanding and experience with cloud management (AWS, Google Cloud), Google Workspace, Slack, and data transfer.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Certifications in relevant IT and cloud management areas.
• Passion for gaming and familiarity with game development processes.
