• Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests in areas such as hematology, microbiology, clinical chemistry, and urinalysis.

• Prepare and analyse samples, ensuring accuracy and precision in results.

• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure proper functioning.

• Record and report test results in a timely and accurate manner.

• Follow established laboratory protocols and safety guidelines to prevent contamination and ensure the safety of patients and staff.

• Assist in managing laboratory supplies and inventory.

• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret and discuss test results.

• Maintain accurate and detailed laboratory records.

• Stay updated with advancements in laboratory techniques and best practices.

• Assist in setting up and dismantling mobile medical units at various locations.

• Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Valid certification as a Laboratory Technician.

• Proven experience as a Laboratory Technician.

• Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures, equipment, and safety protocols.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.

• Willingness to work in non-standard conditions in rural areas.

• Proficiency in English is an advantage.
