Manager Planning FTTH- North (Islamabad-Pakistan)
we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager Planning (North) to lead the planning and design efforts of GPON and FTTH projects.
The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in the telecom industry, with at least 5-6 years in a leadership role overseeing GPON/FTTH operations, OSP activities, and GIS-based planning. The candidate must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
-Lead the planning of GPON (FTTH) networks in the northern region, ensuring effective and efficient network design while overseeing the planning aspects of OSP operations.
-Develop strategies for the expansion and optimization of GPON/FTTH networks, aligning with company goals and objectives.
-Utilize GIS tools for accurate fiber optic network route planning to ensure seamless network implementation. Ensure that project milestones, quality standards, and budget requirements are met, focusing primarily on the planning stage. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth coordination, particularly focusing on the planning phases of OSP construction and network maintenance.
-Continuously monitor the network design process and ensure it adheres to industry standards, focusing on long-term planning and improvements. Foster and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including vendors and regulatory bodies, to ensure smooth project planning.
Requirements: 10+ years of experience in the telecom industry, with at least 5-6 years in a managerial role focusing on GPON/FTTH project planning.
Strong expertise in OSP (Outside Plant) operations with a solid understanding of fiber route design and network planning. Proven ability to develop and implement successful planning strategies for large-scale GPON/FTTH projects.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas effectively. Strong problem-solving, organizational, and leadership abilities.
Preferred Qualifications: BS Telecom/Electrical with MS GIS Experience in managing cross-functional teams and large-scale network projects.
