Role Overview:
We are looking for a Procurement Executive to join our team in Karachi. This role will focus on building strong connections with local suppliers and vendors, conducting outdoor meetings, and ensuring efficient procurement of supplies and equipment for the HORECA (Hotel, Restaurant, Café) sector.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain relationships with local suppliers and vendors.
- Conduct outdoor meetings to negotiate contracts and secure favorable terms.
- Source and procure supplies and equipment specific to the HORECA industry.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities in Excel.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand procurement needs.
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and product options.
- Monitor market trends and pricing to ensure competitive purchasing.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulations.
- Prepare procurement documents and reports as needed.
- Proven experience in procurement, particularly within the HORECA sector.
- Strong proficiency in Excel for data management and reporting.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage relationships and effectively collaborate with suppliers.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.
- Degree Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience Requirement: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in procurement, especially in HORECA supplies and equipment.
- Language Requirement: Proficiency in English (required), with local language skills being a plus.
Pay: Rs55,000.00 - Rs70,000.00 per month
