Sunridge Foods, one of the leading FMCG sector operate across Pakistan. We are recruiting R & D Executive in Production Department for our Hub Plant.
Objective: This role involves conducting research, developing new products, improving existing products, and ensuring product quality and compliance with industry standards.
Duties & Responsibilities:

• Conduct research on new ingredients, flavors, and processing techniques to innovate and improve product offerings.
• Develop prototypes, conduct sensory evaluations, and optimize formulations based on feedback.
• Work with the production team to optimize manufacturing processes for new and existing products.
• Ensure scalability of product formulations and processes for mass production.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction while maintaining or enhancing product quality.
• Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to establish and maintain product specifications and standards, stability studies for new products.
• Ensure all new products comply with food safety regulations, including HACCP and GMP.
• Maintain detailed documentation of all R&D activities, including formulation records, process developments, and test results.
• Prepare reports on project progress and present findings to management.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, consumer preferences, and competitive products.
• Provide insights and recommendations for new product development and improvement based on market data.
• Work with the marketing team to align R&D activities with market needs and brand strategy.
• Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and innovations in the food industry.
• Propose and implement continuous improvement initiatives for product and process development.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in food science, Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in R&D within the food industry, preferably in baked goods or snack products.
• Strong understanding of food chemistry, ingredient functionality, and product formulation.
• Proficiency in SAP PRD (Production) is essential.
• Experience with sensory evaluation and statistical analysis is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and project management skills.
