Job Description:
As a Lead Shopify App Developer, you will play a crucial role in leading, creating, developing, and maintaining Shopify Apps using Retool, Bubble, and Shopify.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead planning, creation, development, and maintenance of Shopify Apps using low-code platforms such as Retool, Bubble, and Shopify.
• Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise, optimizing performance and security.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to enhance our development practices.
• Reporting to a Canadian team.

Mandatory Qualifications & Skills:

• In-dept knowledge on building Shopify Apps using Bubble and/or Retool.
• Strong understanding of Shopify’s App Store, including experience with app submission, approval processes, and best practices for optimizing app visibility and performance within the platform.
• Extensive knowledge on Shopify's APIs.
• Strong Proficiency in HTML, CSS, Java Script, Python, Node.js, Ruby/Ruby on Rails, Shopify Liquid, Graph QL, SQL/No SQL, Rest API, React, OAuth, and Webhooks.
• Solid understanding of version control systems (Git).
• Awareness of security best practices, especially in handling sensitive customer data.
• Existing Portfolio or Past Work building Shopify Apps using Retool and Bubble.

Soft Skills:

• Capable of performing under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
• Proficient in multitasking and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Willingness to work overtime and adapt to irregular hours as needed.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
