Sales Development Representative / Apppointment Setter

Proto IT Consultants is seeking a dedicated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to work full-time from our office, supporting one of our esteemed clients in the finance industry. This role involves managing a high-volume inbound pipeline, setting up appointments, and supporting the sales process to contribute to the client’s business growth.
Our client helps undergraduate students at U.S. universities secure high-paying jobs in the finance industry, with graduates earning an average of over $100,000 in their first year out of college. They offer a comprehensive package of video training, professional networking, mentorship, and AI-driven tools that streamline the job application and networking process for students.
Role Overview:
We are hiring an SDR who will work exclusively on behalf of our client from our office. This role involves lead qualification, appointment setting, and ensuring high-quality engagement with prospective students. This is a long-term, in-person role that offers significant growth potential within Proto IT Consultants.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead Qualification and Appointment Setting: Engage with prospective students to qualify their fit for the client’s program and set up appointments for senior sales representatives to discuss program enrollment.
2. Sales Script Enhancement: Work with the team to refine sales scripts and strategies over time based on insights from calls and student interactions.
3. Internal Communication and Feedback: Provide feedback on sales processes, prospective student needs, and sales performance to optimize our approach.
4. Long-term Sales Development: Start as an Appointment Setter with the opportunity to grow into a Closer role over time, staying with Proto IT Consultants long-term while supporting the client’s sales strategy and efficiency.
Requirements:
1. Education & Experience: Previous experience in sales or customer service is preferred. Familiarity with the finance or education sector is a plus.
2. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills. The ability to articulate ideas clearly and engage with prospective students effectively.
3. Technical Skills: Comfortable using CRM systems and able to adapt to various software tools (e.g., video training platforms, CRM, AI tools).
4. Work Authorization: Authorized to work in the United States.
5. Availability: Must be able to attend in-person at our office in Pakistan 5 days a week, with flexible hours available between 6PM - 3AM Pakistan Time.
Compensation:
1. Base Pay: Will be discussed in the interview based on your experience and what you bring to the table.
2. Commissions: Commissions will be discussed at a later stage but will include a significant incentive structure to reward performance.
3. Growth Opportunities: This role is designed to support the client’s sales efforts while providing career growth within Proto IT Consultants. Candidates will start as Appointment Setters, with opportunities to grow into a Closer role over time. The role offers continuous learning opportunities and the potential to shape the future of the client’s sales processes.
Additional Information:
1. This is an in-person role based at Proto IT Consultants’ New York office. While we are flexible with working hours, the candidate must be available full-time within the business window of 6PM to 3AM Pakistan Time.
2. The role does not require generating new leads as the client has a healthy inbound pipeline.
