Introduction

Responsibilities

• identify, design and deliver workshops, lectures, sessions, short courses for PDC’C
• facilitate specifically assigned Certificate Programmes, Advanced Diploma in Education and Early Childhood Education & Development (ECED) courses
• facilitate and conduct grant CPD Courses
• frequently travel to project areas for implementation of different modules and their replication
• prepare modules for tailor made courses
• conduct workshops for professional associations / school teachers
• participate in teaching activities for other programmes and follow-up activities related to the area of work/assignment
• participate in developing instructional materials related to academic programmes/projects.
• Support teachers during their field work, being available for course participants requiring guidance for their assignments
• engage in scholarly work including writing articles independently on assigned projects
• pursue publication of scholarly work in professional journals under the supervision of senior faculty
• participate in research studies with senior colleagues including designing instruments, collecting, compiling & analyzing data and writing initial reports
• conduct and participate in various meetings and sessions with stakeholders in the schools, at PDC’ C and in the field
• ensure active participation and contribution for committees as member & also provide ongoing feedback to supervisor for the same
• willing for extensive field visits for the execution of project related activities within the project area
• participate in in-house faculty meetings, forums, policy based discussions, various other meetings, etc.
