Job Summary:
The Head of Electronics and PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) is responsible for managing all aspects of electronics and automation systems within the facility. This includes overseeing the design, programming, installation, and maintenance of PLC systems, as well as leading a team of electronics engineers and technicians.
Key Responsibilities:
- PLC and Automation Systems:
- Oversee the programming, installation, and maintenance of PLC systems and other automation technologies.
- Ensure that all automation systems are functioning efficiently and reliably.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and manage a team of electronics engineers and technicians.
- Provide training and development opportunities to keep the team updated with the latest PLC technologies.
- System Design and Implementation:
- Design and implement new automation systems to improve production efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate automation solutions with existing systems.
- Troubleshooting and Maintenance:
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with PLC and automation systems to minimize downtime.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for electronic and automation equipment.
- Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure that all electronic and automation systems comply with relevant safety regulations and standards.
- Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in electronics and automation, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of PLC programming, automation systems, and industrial electronics.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in automation software and tools.
Pay: Rs1.00 - Rs2.00 per month
