BAT PAKISTAN IS LOOKING A TRADE SYSTEM EXECUTIVE
SENIORITY LEVEL: Mid-Senior Level
FUNCTION: Marketing
LOCATION: Lahore, Pakistan
ROLE SUMMARY
This role is responsible to execution of trade planning activities with relevant trade platform, supporting for any required trade planning scenarios along with execution tracking against the set objectives. This role also responsible to ensure system administration task such as activity creation, data maintenance, etc. as updated on time and accurately. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize the trade planning system and processes as well as drive the B2B marketing agenda with a focus on our B2B digital platforms through cross-functional engagement, platform ownership, content creation.

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

  • Maintain a detailed understanding of End Market business priorities, trade agenda, and operating model, ensuring alignment with each cycle's objectives and activities.
  • Complete trade activities by following trade plans and using B2B platforms (e.g., Anaplan, Salesforce). This includes planning campaigns, covering trades, planning cycle activities, and crafting sales plans for individual customers.
  • Support the creation of alternative cycle planning scenarios, present resource requirements and potential adjustments to the End Market, and supervise execution to meet objectives.
  • Handle the overall customer database and apply insights on retail/channel demographics and segmentation to support trade planning.
  • Collaborate with the RTM Project team and other internal collaborators to facilitate field fulfillment changes and develop content, calendar, and key messages for trade engagement.
  • Handle system administration tasks, such as activity creation, data maintenance, and updates, and coordinate platform maintenance and upgrades with IDT and vendors.
  • Assist the Consumer and Trade Programs Manager with conceptualisation and execution to drive customer engagement and support the digital agenda.
  • Develop and update business process documents, analyze customer feedback, cultivate the BAT digital B2B marketing agenda, and ensure full audit compliance.
CAN THIS BE YOUR FUTURE ROLE?
  • Do you have experience working with trade CRM tools like Salesforce or Anaplan?
  • Are you comfortable handling and analyzing large data sets in Excel for reporting and decision-making purposes?
  • Have you previously worked in a cross-functional role within the FMCG industry?


EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE

ESSENTIAL
Experience Required
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in FMCG industry
  • Specific experience on Trade Marketing Operation and Planning process and trade system
  • Experience with digital, B2B and B2C marketing
  • Strong collaborator and cross functional working experience with strong interpersonal skills and strive for results.
  • Proactive in seeking new ways/improvements in planning process/system
  • Proficiency in English language.
Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required
  • Experience in Trade CRM & planning tool (Salesforce, Anaplan, etc). Anaplan certification is preferred.
  • Experience in handling Trade marketing data
  • Experience in data analysis, interpretation, and summary presentations.
  • Proficient Excel skills with the ability to interpret, improve, and optimize reporting conducted via multiple Excel spreadsheets.
Education / Qualifications / Certifications Required
  • A "bachelor’s degree" in a business or Marketing field
