Introduction

The Aga Khan University Hospital is a not-for-profit healthcare institute that offers all medical services to their patients under one roof. In addition to the tertiary care hospital in Karachi, AKUH has a network of 4 secondary care hospitals, 30+ Medical Centres, and over 290+ Clinical Laboratories, 30+ Pharmacies in over 120+ cities across Pakistan. Responsibilities

You will be responsible to:

code Inpatient and Day care discharges as per international coding classification and AKUH coding guidelines
give presentation on coding topics/ chapters to have consistency in coding amongst coders
daily print histopathology report from software
attend at least 10 educational coding webinars
any other related task as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

You should have/be:

bachelors in science with Physiology as a major subject with sixteen years of education
good verbal and written communication skills
working knowledge of computer programs/ skills
good analytical skills.
