We’re looking for a flexible and versatile person to join our team as the Business Development Manager. We are a short-term rental/vacation rental property management company headquartered in Panama City Beach, FL. We are growing quickly and looking to add some more talent to our team to help us manage the sales needs of our growing company.
This person would be responsible for the growth of our company and brand utilizing outbound sales channels and techniques. This person should be located in the Florida Panhandle. To be successful, this person will need a strong working knowledge of the vacation rental industry, sales techniques, extremely strong communication skills, and the ability to use technology like an expert.
Responsibilities:

• Create and manage a pipeline of potential homeowners.
• Cultivate leads, engage with potential homeowners, and develop strategies and tactics to convert leads to sales.
• Deploy successful marketing campaigns, targeted or broad, and own the implementation of these campaigns from creation to execution.
• Monitor, track, and analyze campaigns and sales trends to report on what is working and what isn’t.
• Experiment with a variety of techniques and outlets such as Facebook and other social media, Chamber of Commerce, Realtor Meet-Ups Events, etc.
• Be responsive to emails, phone calls and texts both from potential homeowners in the pipeline and internal team members.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with all parties you interact with through email, phone calls, texts, and in-person.
• Face-to-face meetings and property walkthroughs may be required.
• Prepare and monitor a marketing budget specific to you and report back on your needs and wants to return success.
• Prepare and oversee the creation of marketing material for use in your role, within established company guidelines.
• Build strategic partnerships with key industry players such as realtors, CAMs, HOAs, etc.

Skills:

• Demonstratable experience in the vacation rental industry.
• Knowledge of revenue projections for short-term rentals.
• Ability to learn quickly and without considerable repetition.
• Expert knowledge of use of general computer systems like email, Word, Excel, Outlook, Calendar, Zoom, etc.
• Understanding that the STR industry is ever-changing, thus adaptability is a MUST!
• Excellent time management skills.
• Highly responsive and reliable.
• Possess the ability to “FIO” – Figure It Out!
• Preferred: Experience with CRMs, PMS systems, Vo IP systems, and specific software such as Breezeway, Key Data Dashboard, Mail Chimp, etc.
