Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Builder to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction and remodeling, with hands-on experience in various building techniques. As a Builder, you will play a crucial role in transforming spaces through your expertise in installation, restoration, and construction practices. This position requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality work, and the ability to collaborate effectively with other team members on-site.
Duties
  • Perform plastering tasks to ensure smooth finishes on walls and ceilings.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools for various construction activities.
  • Execute remodeling projects, including kitchen and bathroom renovations.
  • Carry out installations of doors, windows, and other structural elements.
  • Conduct electrical work as needed, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Work on construction sites, maintaining a safe and organized environment.
  • Engage in metal stud framing for interior walls and partitions.
  • Hang doors accurately to ensure proper functionality and aesthetics.
  • Assist in roofing projects, contributing to the overall structural integrity of buildings.
  • Restore existing structures by repairing or replacing damaged components.
Skills
  • Proficiency in plastering techniques and applications.
  • Strong knowledge of hand tools and their proper usage in construction tasks.
  • Experience in remodeling projects with an eye for design and functionality.
  • Familiarity with installation processes for various building materials.
  • Basic electrical skills or knowledge of electrical systems is advantageous.
  • Ability to navigate construction sites safely while adhering to regulations.
  • Competence in metal stud framing methods for efficient wall construction.
  • Expertise in door hanging techniques for optimal alignment and operation.
  • Understanding of roofing systems and the ability to assist with related tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on restoring structures effectively.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
