We are seeking a friendly and professional Host/Host to join our dynamic team in the hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for guest relations, making it essential for creating memorable dining experiences.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and wait staff to ensure smooth service.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly to enhance their dining experience.
- Assist with managing waitlists during busy periods, ensuring guests are informed of wait times.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.
- Collaborate with team members to provide outstanding guest services in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong guest relations skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and non-verbal.
- Experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or other point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a busy environment.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional hospitality.
- Previous experience in hotel or hospitality roles is advantageous.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $15.50 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
