Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in our restaurant by preparing high-quality dishes and ensuring that food presentation meets our standards. This position requires a strong understanding of food preparation techniques, menu planning, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including all cooking equipment and utensils.
  • Assist in menu planning and food preparation for daily specials or events.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
  • Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines in food handling and preparation.
  • Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and kitchen procedures.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, including knife skills and culinary methods.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with dietary aide practices is a plus.
  • Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a busy kitchen setting.
  • A passion for the culinary arts and a desire to grow within the food industry.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 60 per week

  • Restaurant experience: 1 year (Required)
