Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in the Medical/Surgical department. The ideal candidate will have experience in triage and possess a strong understanding of medical terminology. This position offers the opportunity to work in a teaching hospital environment with exposure to various medical specialties.
Duties

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical/Surgical setting
• Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team
• Educate patients and their families on disease management and treatment plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care

Qualifications

• Current FL RN license required or appropriate compact licensure. If compact license held, active FL RN license required within 90 days of hire.
• Current certification as a BLS Healthcare Provider.
• Candidates need to have Acuce Care Expirience
• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Customer service abilities including effective listening skills.
• Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 pounds.
