Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical team. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care, collaborate with healthcare professionals, and ensure the well-being of our patients.
Duties:
- Perform comprehensive assessments of patients' health status
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and document patients' vital signs and medical history
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding their medical conditions and treatment options
- Assist with procedures, surgeries, and other medical interventions as needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic health record systems
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements:
- Valid Registered Nurse license in FL
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in a medical/surgical setting
- Strong knowledge of pain management techniques and medication administration
- Experience in infant care, toddler care, family planning, home care, discharge planning, phlebotomy, and ostomy care is highly desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
