Job Description
Shift Assignment: Night Shift
We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in the Azure Data Factory (ADF), Databricks, SQL and data warehouse concepts. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and optimizing data pipelines and processes, building and deploying data models, and ensuring data integrity.

• Responsibilities
  
  • Design and develop data pipelines/processes using ADF, Databricks, and SQL.
  • Design and develop data models to support business requirements.
  • Analyze and optimize data pipelines and data models.
  • Monitor data pipelines, data models, and data integrity.
  • Work closely with other teams to ensure data quality and accuracy.
  • Implement best practices for data security and privacy.
  • Troubleshoot data-related issues.

Qualifications

• Expert-Level Knowledge of data integration, data mapping, and ETL processes
• Proven experience in Azure data engineering.
• Expertise in Azure Data Factory, Data Lake Storage, Blob Storage, Cosmos DB, SQL Database, Snowflake or equivalent, and Data Bricks.
• Excellent knowledge of data modeling, ETL, data warehousing, and data governance.
• Proficient in writing SQL and T-SQL queries.
• Good understanding of Azure security and compliance.
• Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI.
• Excellent problem solving, analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business needs.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Insurance/Reinsurance knowledge is a plus.

Additional Information

• Required knowledge & skills would typically be acquired through a bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
• Experienced Data Engineer/ETL developer with at least 3-5 years of experience in Data Engineering.
