About the role
Direction Staffing Solutions is seeking a talented Accountant to join our team in our Mandaluyong office. As an Accountant, you will be endorsed to our Australian Accounting firm client and play a crucial role in preparation of financial reports and tax returns for small business client base. This is a full-time position that offers excellent opportunities for professional growth and development.
What you'll be doing

• Preparing and analysing financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
• Ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions
• Performing reconciliations and review of data to maintain the integrity of financial records
• Assisting with the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory documents
• Providing support to their management team
• Collaborating with other team members on varied and interesting accounting related tasks

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience as an Accountant, preferably working for an Australian Accounting firm or BPO.
• Proficiency in using accounting software such as Xero, MYOB and Quickbooks as well as spreadsheet applications
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic knowledge of Australian taxation regulations and compliance requirements

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php25,000.00 - Php50,000.00 per month

Supplemental Pay:
