About The Role
As a Bookings Associate at Fora, you play a key role in Fora's core booking operations. You will join our talented team based in the Philippines as a "bookings expert" – someone responsible for logging, revising, and managing a wide range of bookings submitted by our travel advisors. Your accurate management of bookings forms the foundation of Fora's database and enhances our travel advisors' booking experience. Thus, we are looking for someone who is:Requirements
Skilled with numbers and data – you have a "numbers-minded" brain, and can easily perform basic mathematical operations and calculate price breakdownsProfessional in customer-facing communications – you are patient, polite, and informative when addressing inquiries, preferably with several years of experience in a customer service or client-facing role
Highly attentive to detail – you perform tasks accurately and efficiently, always making sure to carefully check your work for errors
Curious and a quick learner – you absorb new information quickly (Fora is growing fast and always innovating!) and demonstrate an eagerness to learn, ask questions, and take on more responsibility, with a detective mindset.
- At least 3 years of administrative experience
- Mandatory tools: Gsuites, MS Excel, PDF, Emails
- Schedule: someone with a weekend schedule capacity is ideal
- MUST be extremely organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable asking questions/dealing with ambiguity, as many of our bookings may be nuanced.
- Knowledge in the travel and hospitality industry is highly preferred
- Experience in handling large volumes of tickets
- AP/AR/ERP software experience is a plus, but not required.
Work Setup
- Independent full-time remote contractor position
- The contractor must have their equipment (computer and internet connection)
- Must be willing to co-work in the office (General Mariano Alvarez, Cavite) at least twice a week
