Position Overview: The Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – Internal Audit will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our financial operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of financial integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct internal audits to assess the effectiveness of internal controls, accuracy of financial reporting, and compliance with regulations and policies.
- Develop and execute audit plans, including risk assessments and audit strategies.
- Prepare detailed audit reports, including findings, recommendations, and action plans.
- Collaborate with various departments to understand processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Evaluate financial systems and procedures to ensure they meet industry standards and best practices.
- Stay current with regulatory changes and industry trends to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
- Provide support during external audits and assist with the implementation of audit recommendations.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in internal audit or a similar role (preferably in a medical or healthcare setting, but not required)
- Strong knowledge of auditing standards, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
