Role: Cobol Mainframe
Mode of Hiring: 6 months for initial contract but can be extended
Work Location: Taguig, Uptown Tower 2
Mode Of Working: Hybrid -2x a week onsite
Work Schedule: Shift B and C, Shift B- 4PM to 2AM or Shift C: 8PM to 6 AM
Work hours: 45 Hours Weekly
Job Description
Job Position: Cobol Mainframe (Good to have - DB2, IMS, Focus)
Responsible for developing, maintaining mainframe applications using COBOL programming language.
- Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide solutions.
- Develop and execute unit tests and integration tests to ensure software quality and functionality.
- Troubleshoot and debug software issues, providing timely resolution to meet customer needs and specifications.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Required Skill: Expert proficiency in COBOL programming language.
- Strong understanding of Application Support and Maintenance.
- Experience with relational databases and SQL.
- The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software applications.
