Purpose of the role:
The FMCG / CPG Data Analyst is tasked to scrutinize information and generate insights using data analysis tools. He/She must adhere to the Data Office mandate which is to create business value – both
for internal and external clients – from data generated by the company and through integration with external data. Report format will vary depending on the project or client requirements.
KRA/JD
Database querying and data extraction.

• Data preparation, EDA (exploratory data analysis), data cleaning.
• Perform initial analyses to assess data quality and further analyses to generate
• insights.
• Prepare narrative using data visualization.
• Prepare reports based on analysis.
• Be an advocate for data integrity and ethical business intelligence at all times.
• Coordinate with other departments for various tasks.
• Other tasks as assigned.

KRAs
Data Analysis and Interpretation:

• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can impact the FMCG business we are working with
• Interpret data to provide actionable recommendations

Market and Consumer Research:

• Conduct research on market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and threats.
• Develop consumer insights to guide promo strategies.

Data Visualization and Reporting:

• Create meaningful and visually appealing reports and dashboards to communicate insights to various stakeholders.

Continuous Learning and Innovation:

• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data analytics and FMCG.
• Innovate by exploring new data sources and methodologies to enhance decision-making.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and finance to align data analysis efforts with business objectives.

Qualifications:

• Education level: College graduate or postgraduate education; any STEM program
• Experience: 0.5-2 years in data science and/or analytics
• Numerate and analytical thinking with experience in retail or consumer-facing FMCG, CPG
