Data Entry Clerk (Medical)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Medical Data Entry Clerk. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently inputting medical data into our electronic systems, ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of patient information at all times. The ideal candidate will possess strong typing skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a basic understanding of medical terminology.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately and efficiently input medical data, including patient demographics, diagnoses, treatments, and billing information, into electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Verify and update existing patient information as necessary, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Review data for errors or discrepancies and resolve them in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and administrative staff to obtain missing or incomplete information.
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed.
- Medical-related education and in medical billing or health information management is a plus.
- Proven experience in data entry, preferably in a healthcare or medical setting.
- Proficient typing skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and e Clinical Works.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Mon-Fri 9pm-6am (Philippine Time)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php30,000.00 per month
