Responsibilities:
- As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data solutions using the Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- Your typical day will involve creating data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and implementing ETL processes to migrate and deploy data across systems.
- Design and develop data solutions using the Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- Create and maintain data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data.
- Ensure data quality by implementing data validation and cleansing processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and design appropriate solutions.
- Implement ETL processes to migrate and deploy data across systems.
- Required Skill: Proficiency in the Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- At least 2 to 5 years of experience with Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- At least 2 to 5 years of experience with Extract Transform Load (ETL), Microsoft SQL Server, and Python (Programming Language).
- Strong understanding of data engineering principles and best practices.
- Knowledge of data validation and cleansing techniques.
- Proficiency in SQL and database management systems.
- At least 2 years of experience in designing and developing data pipelines.
- At least 2 years of experience with data migration and deployment.
- Based in or willing to relocate to Cebu City, Cebu.
- Based in neighboring regions (WESTERN VISAYAS, EASTERN VISAYAS, CENTRAL VISAYAS, NORTHEN MINDANAO) and willing to commute or relocate to Cebu City, Cebu.
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Engineering, Computer Science, information technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 to 5 years’ experience in delivering impactful data-driven solutions.
