Responsibilities:

As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data solutions using the Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
Your typical day will involve creating data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and implementing ETL processes to migrate and deploy data across systems.
Design and develop data solutions using the Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
Create and maintain data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data.
Ensure data quality by implementing data validation and cleansing processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and design appropriate solutions.
Implement ETL processes to migrate and deploy data across systems.

Qualifications/Skills:

Required Skill: Proficiency in the Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
At least 2 to 5 years of experience with Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
At least 2 to 5 years of experience with Extract Transform Load (ETL), Microsoft SQL Server, and Python (Programming Language).
Strong understanding of data engineering principles and best practices.
Knowledge of data validation and cleansing techniques.
Proficiency in SQL and database management systems.
At least 2 years of experience in designing and developing data pipelines.
At least 2 years of experience with data migration and deployment.
Based in or willing to relocate to Cebu City, Cebu.
Based in neighboring regions (WESTERN VISAYAS, EASTERN VISAYAS, CENTRAL VISAYAS, NORTHEN MINDANAO) and willing to commute or relocate to Cebu City, Cebu.

Educational Background:

Bachelor’s degree in Data Engineering, Computer Science, information technology, or a related field
Minimum of 2 to 5 years’ experience in delivering impactful data-driven solutions.
