Facade Structural Engineer

- License Civil Engineer
- At least 5 years experience in the field of structural engineering ideally facade
- Responsible in providing structural calculations and support to the engineering and Sales Team
- To develop structural design of façade in coordination with the Project Managers and Project Coordinators to ensure that the most appropriate systems are to be utilized
- Perform structural design and analysis calculations using governing codes and standards, engineering formulas, skills, and experience
- To provide in house check calculations for the purpose of ensuring façade designs are appropriate for their application.
- Provide drawing for own designs and produce sketches to incorporate in drawings by Auto CAD Team.
- Suggest ways of improving the structural design and value engineering the overall design of the façade or curtain wall
- Monitor work executed for compliance to applicable codes, accepted engineering practices and standards.
- Review of shop drawings to ensure structural requirements have been considered
- Use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering design documents
- Attend and participate in Client and Seapac internal meetings
- May direct and supervise other Project managers, Coordinators and Auto CAD Team activities
- Willing to impart knowledge to colleagues and other members of Seapac Philippines Inc.
- Willing where necessary, to stamp and sign drawings and structural calculations as Engineer of Record
- To work closely with the estimating and sales team to assist in developing tender support calculations. These may include;
- Structural engineering calculations and presentations.
- Structural engineering section of project proposals.
- Structural engineering section of project cost estimates.
- Responsible to plan and conduct independent work, requiring judgment in the evaluation, selection, application and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures and criteria.
- Working knowledge of Auto CAD.
- Experience in working with multiple discipline projects with Design & Build projects
- Should have a working knowledge of local codes of Philippines and how these are applied
- Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Suite.
Pay: Php35,000.00 - Php45,000.00 per month
